Introducing Smartmenu

Smartmenu is menuing application for Lirc (Linux infrared remote control). It is my first step to make usage of remote with Linux box as easy and smart as possible. It means provide wide range of functionality of computer, while keeping user interface, consisting of remote, display and optionally soundcard, simple and straightforward. So your grandmother can understand how to use it ;-)

This is obviously quite complex task and Smartmenu is (for now?) only a small piece of what have to be done. And of course still not complete piece. In spite of this, it is well usable even in this early stage of development. It provides classical menu tree, in which you can browse (with remote) and which can be displayed (on XWindow system).

Check it out and drop a message how do you like it! Bug reports and feature requests are also wanted.

You can also send your menu definitions, so I can include them in feature release.
