This is a kitemen party : speech in japanese of Katsuhisa Torii-san, curator of the Worl Kite Museum Yokaïchi Oodako Hall. Party starts early at 18 o'clock and finishes at about 20:30. |

The nihon shu (sake) is poured into a bamboo tube, and the tube is warmed with a fire. I pour the nihon shu for Tomonoshin Kaigai-san (vice-mayor of Yokaïchi) and vice versa according to the japanese courtesy. "Kanpaï !" |

The traditional dance is executed in the queue : first the ladies wearing kimono, everybody dances, even Christine and me. The music is produced by japanese traditional instruments and by a singer wearing a kimono too. Everybody sings the refrain. |

Last party of the Yokaïchi oodako team : chinese diner on tatami. We are sitting cross-legged or kneeling : it's not uncomfortable after some glasses of sake. |
