Children of the Nunobiki primary school prepare theirs small Oodako kites : it's the replica of the great Yokaïchi oodako. They have built the kite, have conveided and painted the decoration.

Children will make the kite flight. The teachers ands the kitemen of the Yokaïchi Oodako team (on the left, Tadao Hikida-san) help the children.

Like the adults of the Yokaïchi Oodako team, they are many to pull the cord because this small oodako measures 4 tatamis (about 2 m2).

The small oodakos have the same shape as the great Yokaïchi oodako.

The photo of the group takes on importance to Japanese people. At the bottom left, Masumi Honda-san, translator, and just behind on the left , Takeshi Kokaji-san.
